Petrucci Marketing is a Social Media + Facebook Advertising industry leader and a growing boutique digital marketing agency in Carlsbad, CA. We are looking for someone creative with attention to detail to intern with our team.

This internship will be 4 months in length with the potential to join our team upon the conclusion.
Pay: $12/hour and up to 20 hours per week.
Location: Our Carlsbad office (possibility to work some hours virtually as well)

Your immediate responsibilities will include:

  • Online reputation management
    • Regular engagement on social media platforms
    • Ongoing upkeep on client online profiles like Yelp
  • Attend weekly PM team meetings on Wednesday mornings + other meetings as needed
  • Create guides for team members with upcoming key dates for marketing plans 
  • Schedule content on Instagram, Pinterest, Linkedin, Facebook, and Twitter using our social media management tools
  • Use your cell phone to post AWESOME stories on Instagram in real-time
  • Assist in creative writing projects, such as blogs, captions, and other copy 
  • Assist in creating email campaigns using pre-designed social media content outline
  • Assist in influencer campaigns using spreadsheets + other tools
  • Work on Amazon marketing as needed
  • Assist in fixing technical issues within our tools/platforms
  • Stay current on social media and digital marketing trends
  • Use our project management tools to participate in team communication and to update the rest of the team regularly on your project progress
  • Create landing pages, lead pages, and other web integrations 
  • Assist in photoshoots as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A desire to work in marketing/advertising OR earned/pursued a degree in marketing/digital advertising 
  • Experience using social media tools 
  • Access to a personal computer or laptop 
  • Ability to deliver on deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • MAJOR attention to detail and willingness to review and revise content repeatedly if needed. We’re talking → Links work, photos are clear and crisp, typos are not happening. If you are afraid to be thorough with checking the quality of your content, this will not be the right position for you.
  • Positive attitude, patience, open-mindedness, and an ability to be ok with ambiguous projects and troubleshooting when things are glitchy. You’ll need to be resourceful at times!
