THE CHALLENGE
Turtle Case needed a partner to create two 2D animations similar to those they had previously made for their other products. While having a reference is useful when starting a creative project, recreating an existing style presents its own challenges—especially without access to the original working files.
THE SOLUTION
Without access to the original working files, we recreated the logo animations from scratch, closely matching the previous animation choices to maintain visual consistency. Once the animation was finalized, we needed to find a voice actor with a similar tone to the original. We sourced an outstanding voice talent with credits on projects like Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Netflix’s Beastars. The final result, combining the voice-over with the 2D animation, impressed the client so much that they requested vertical recuts of both videos.
